What Does It Mean When It Says Other Snapchatters?

If you’ve blocked a user, then you may notice that their name appears under your “Other Snapchatters” preview. But, Snapchat has not explained what this means exactly. The term simply refers to users who’ve blocked you. You can’t add these people to your list, but they show up in this preview.

People you’re friends with

Snapchat has an amazing feature called Best Friends, which allows you to keep track of the people you interact with the most. These users are automatically displayed at the top of your main friends list and are easily accessible. You can influence your friends’ inclusion in your Best Friends list by exchanging more snaps with them. Snapchat calculates your Best Friends list by using your Snap Score, which measures the amount of Snaps you have sent and received since you joined the app. The higher your Snap score, the more likely you are to be added to their list.

If you lose contact with a Snapchat friend, you can find their profile by searching for it in the “Friends” section. When you find someone you’re looking for, you can tap their name to add them back to your list. You can also search your blocked list to find old contacts.

People you haven’t added to your list of friends

If someone hasn’t added you to their list of friends, it’s possible that they’ve removed themselves or blocked you from their account. In this case, you can try contacting them to ask them why they’ve removed themselves. However, do bear in mind that asking someone if they’re still on Snapchat could cause friction.

First, make sure to open the Snapchat app and go to the “Discover” tab. From there, tap the three horizontal lines in the upper right corner of your screen. Once there, select the Manage Subscriptions or Notifications option. After you’ve done that, you’ll be able to see who is still subscribed to your account.

Another way to find out who has added you on Snapchat is to check the “Friends” list. By doing so, you’ll know who you’ve added to your list and whether they’ve added you back.

People who show up in the “Other Snapchatters” preview

The “Other Snapchatters” preview appears whenever Snapchat users post stories. This is a sign that the user is not yet in your friend list. You can fix this by setting your privacy settings to friends only, which means that only those people you can add can see your stories.

However, this can also indicate that the user has a friend list that’s too small. In some cases, it may also mean that you’ve been unrequitedly added. If that’s the case, it’s a good idea to remove this person from your friends list and start afresh.

You can also block these users from seeing your stories. This way, you can block them without having to worry about them being seen by others.
